This Banked track accessory was released under the new Motor Ace brand name in 1968 at 21/- (Â£1.05) first appearing in the Motor Ace Latest 1968 Additions four page leaflet. As a later track release it comes with the steel rails.

Unlike other Airfix track pieces the banked curves do not use the nylon track connector but are held together with three of the metal track clips per joint.

In the 1969 six page Additions leaflet a second banked track accessory pack is show which contained four outer 45Â° banked curves to make a four lane banked bend for 32/6d (Â£1.63). You also needed to purchase a set of banking support pillars which came as a seperate item at 9/6d (Â£0.48) which fitted to centre of the track.

The standard banked track also came with the MR300 'International' set released at the same time as the accessory pack and the later MR175 'Indianapolis' set, first show in the 1969 Additions leaflet, which had two sets of banked curves to make an oval track.
