This set was first released in 1965 and is a slightly longer version of the MR11 set. The set includes 5 double straights, 1 standard straight, 1 double terminal straight and a lap counter, standard straight length, with 4 90° inner curves and 2 45° inner curves. The cars are a red and a white Mini Cooper with colour matched standard controllers. The set also included track barriers, banking bricks, original bridge supports and a bottle of BP oil. All packed in a moulded plastic tray insert and as of the Second Editon catalogue sold for £5/19/11d (£5.99).
The set was unchanged for the Third Edition catalogue but the price had increased to £6/7/9d (£6.38).
By early 1968 and the Forth Edition catalogue, the last Motor racing one, the set had aquired the new style bridge supports and the new clip on barriers
By mid 1968 the set was now branded Motor Ace and the Mini Cooper's had been changed to the Hi_Speed versions, these still used an open frame motor with a shield over then instead of the can motor in the other Hi-Speed cars. By the end of the year the controllers had been changed for the Super Controller.
