This kit is, as are most early GT40 models, based on the car originally shown to the press in 1963 and is a Ford GT as the name GT40 wasn't used until later.

Received this MRRC, German release, body kit. This is the old Monogram model but is supplied without the brass inserts required to fit a chassis to the body.
