Been doing some detail painting on the MRRC Porsche 910 and have also given the decals a protective clearcoat before I apply the final clear topcoat.

I have applied the decals from Le Mans decals to the Porsche 910 and some to the Ford GT

Was at the UK Slot Car Festival today and only bought a few cars.
The first purchases were these Scalextric Porsche 962 Gp C cars.

Whilst collecting a Gordini F1 body kit from Pendle's stand I saw this MRRC Ford GT MkIV which completes my collection of MkIVs from Le Mans 1967.

I found this vintage brass chassis Ferrari 330 P4 in a box of £10 cars.

As I was leaving the Festival just before it closed, having taken part in the Policar GP I took the long way out and just happended to spot this MRRC Shelby Cobra Hardtop on the Pendle's stand. This is a car I should have received just before Christmas but the carrier lost it.


My first purchase of the day wasn't a car but this tyre truer.

Gave the still just clipped together Porsche 910 a test run and all seems to be ok.

Built up the chassis for the Porsche 910 using the MRRC inline chassis.

Received one of last years pre-orders from Pendle's today the Steve McQueen 390GT Mustang.

Started to build a Porsche 910 body using the MRRC body kit I bought last year. I think as I have one to hand I will be using a MRRC chassis under this car.



Yesterday I printed the latest version of the 3D chassis for the SCX COT Nascar bodies from Johnny's Workshop and to day I transfered all the running gear from the earlier version of the chassis. This chassis is fitted to my Chevrolete Impala SS.

Received my latest Corgi Model Club diecast today a Triumph Herald.

Done some more work on the Super Shells Ferrari 518 and the car is now in a running state, just chassis and body. Not yet fitted with the final size wheels or tyres as it's only at early test stage at the moment.
