This is my first boxed Champion set, although I already have quite a bit of Champion track most of which appears to be from B sets as most of the bends are R1 90 deg.

This set is not complete



the track is almost all there :-
9 x standard straights
6 x R1 90 bends


The set has 4 barriers of the original type with the mounting posts moulded to the barrier, but only one is complete and useable.

The following items are missing :-
The power straight
both controllers
3 of the 4 track supports and all 6 raiser pieces
there are no track clips

Both cars, BMW and Ferrari F1's, are present but need some work as the tires are in very poor condition with all four on the Ferrari having melted.

The set did include a set of unused stickers for the barriers



I've been building a few Jouef and Champion Tracks as per the instructions and other leaflets and so have build the standard figure 8 with this set.



This set is the same as the Jouef Junior set except that Jouef include a chicane section.

The layout drives quite well and many hours of fun would have been enjoyed with this set.
