I bought this set just to get the two Lotus 25 models and wasn't really interested in the track.

However when it arrived although the box was in a poor condition the set turned out to be complete with only the instructions missing. All the barriers, flag poles and advertising signs are complete with a tags. the start finish banner has the locating pins missing from both sides of one pole. The set is also complete with oil drums and hay bales.

Although the set is complete with the battery box, controllers and all connection leads the controllers don't work. In the box the controllers are stored with the plungers partly depressed and this has damaged the return springs.

Having put the track together as per the box top artwork I connected up a Scalextric controller and P6 power supply. Due to the very short braids on the Lotus cars I couldn't get them to run very well so I tried some Jouef cars still with not a lot of luck. so I gave one lane a light wipe with some Inox and this helped a bit. Got a couple of Jouef cars to run but the best runners turned out to be SCX Compact, it would appear that as the track is dirty the cars that draw the less current work the best.
