Photo taken on my Winter layout. This is an early version car with the solid metal pickup shoes and the oscillating motor although it does have the metal rail power connectors to the motor.

Photos taken while taking video on my Airfix Monte Carlo Rally layout. You can see in the photos that the original solid pickup shoes have now been reinstalled. Allthough the car would run on the layout I had to set the pickup shoe spring tension to it weakest position to ensure good contact with the track.

Some video shot on my Airfix Monte Carlo Rally layout on 15/2/2021. In the first three segments the car is only running on 9 volts and in the final segment, after the short pause, at 12 volts and I am using a second generation Jouef controller.
