Received this vintage car today that dates from the late 1960's A lot of the car by this manufacture had full 360 swivel guide but this car is fitted with a stop to prevent this. The car also has a none standard guide the is designed to clip in to a special track slot to prevent de-slotting. The guide has sprung metal pickup rails in stead of braids and due to the design of the swivel pickup system the metal chassis is live and carries power to the motor.
The car appears to be a runner but won't fit in to a normal track slot. I believe the centre pickup tabbed piece is a clip in extra so if I can remove this the car may be usable on normal track.
