This is a Jouef 'Obstacle Police R5' which came in the larger Jouef Circuit Z Racing No.2 set.

According to the 1979 Jouef catalogue - this "evil" car travels on its own with an irregular speed. This requires the drivers to use the lane changes to avoid it.

The car is in full working condition, just needed new tyres, including a working roof light.

Having tested the car it can be driven a full speed without deslotting due to the fact that it is fitted with 2 diodes and a couple of resistors which restrict the voltage to the motor. I didn't see any variation in the speed of the cars but that may be due to not using "Z" track.
