This car needed it braids replacing before it would run and the have been replaced with a used pair of shoes as I still haven't managed to fit new braid to the old shoes without breaking the small tabs that hold the braid in place.

A short video shot on my Airfix Monte Carlo Rally layout on 15/2/2021. The car is being controlled with a second generation Jouef controller without brakes running at 12 volts, when the track was running at 9 volts the car was running very slowly and would not do any of the climb.
