This car arrived in a nice clean condition but the drivers head had become off in transit, nothing a bit of glue won't fix.
The car run quite well and is as quick as some of my Mk1 Airfix cars, it will need new rear tyres and the braids will need replacing as they are well warn.
When the car arrived it was running in the wrong direction, a simple fix just change the braids around. This has caused a couple of problems, one being that the wire that runs to the insulated side of the brush spring is a little on the tight side and with a bit of tail sliding the connector gets pulled forward away from the brush. The other is that while changing the braids over I seem to have loosened something and the pickup assembly is now hanging quite loose.
