This car is one of the later version 'ready to run' car and is fitted with a plastic chassis although it does have the axles and wheels from the kit cars. This car, I believe, should have either set screw or push on plastic wheels but has the threaded screws and locking nuts fitted. As the car arrived it was a poor runner as it had been fitted with a set of wide rear tyres that were rubbing on the chassis. These have been removed and as I don't, at the moment, have any spare original or urethane Revell tyres I would normally fit a pait of Airfix F1 rear tyres, as they are a good fit although a little bit small, but following on from a post on Slot Forum International I decided to try the tyres from the Arii 1950 VW Beetle kit. These fir well and are just about the correct diameter and seem to work quite well despite being a bit on the hard side and can be seen in one of the photos below
