This car is for use in my clubs 1/24th scale small car class, originally for George Turner Mini's.
The body is a vacuum form Mini Sprint and has been painted with Humbrol enamel paints apart from the rear lights and front indicators which are Tamiya translucent red and orange. The chassis is a Palfit super 32 with 3/32" axles and slot.It wheels as used on the Gp C cars and a Slot.It 25K motor. The body is attached to the chassis using double sided tape but for some reason the body keeps slipping down on the chassis so it rests on the track surface so I think I will need to drill the chassis side pans and either pin or screw the body to them

Having had no luck with getting the Palfit chassis setup to run well I have removed it from the Mini and I'm now trying the Slot.It HRS2 chassis. The chassis with the plastic clip-in body mounts is just the right width for the Mini body. I have used a Scaleauto Tech-2 25k S-can motor fitted with a Slot.It 9t pinion and a Slot.It 27t crown gear. The axles are 54mm Slot.It and I am using the same wheels as before. The guide is a shortened Slot.It deep wood guide, it needs shortening to get around the tightest bend on the club track. The body mounts are glued to the body and I will have to see how well they hold up and will be testing it in a few days time at the club.
14/2/2023 This car has now been stripped and the chassis has been fitted to the blue Mini body. I finally, hopefully, have come up a method to attach the body to the Slot.It HRS2 chassis that will work but the red body has ended up being to trimmed in places to work so over to the blue car.
