Finally finished this car, the final detail work was done yesterday. I painted the interior tray and driver and added some of the decals from the Revell kit, which can be seen in the finished car as the side windows are moulded open in the kit.. I have also added all the body decals from the kit including the pin stripping and the front and rear air grills which have settled to the grid shape very well with the help of some MicroSol. The rear lights and front indicators have been painted with Tamiya transparent red and orange paint over silver paint. I have also added the kit hubcap decals to the Fuchs wheel inserts.
The chassis is from Amato and is fitted with a Slot.It inline pod and Flat-6 RS 25k motor. The motor has a slot.It 9t pinion turning a 28t slot.It crown gear. The 14" wheels are alloy from Pendle's and came as a full set with tyres and Fuchs resin inserts and are on SRP axles.
