The body is complete but the exhaust pipes aren't chromed and and it uses self tapping screws rather than set screws and inserts.

Parma Wop Wop chassis

Some guide flags and a few other bits

Decided to give most of my older 1/43rd scale Artin, Carrera Go and SCX Compact cars a run on th Monte Carlo layout. First problem I encountered was that most of the tyres on the Artin and a lot of the Carrera Go cars had gone hard. However with a little bit of tyre swopping I managed to get most of the runners to work and they all managed to get around the layout. Most of the cars proved very difficult to control and I had to reduce the voltage to 6V for the Artin cars and 9V for Carrera Go and SCX Compact cars. With the reduced voltage the cars handled quite well on the Monte Carlo layout. I will just need to get some replacement tyres now.

I've now dismantled the Airfix test track and build upo an Airfix Monte Carlo Rally layout in it's place. I've used the spare mountain scenery set I received the other day and spare track to build the layout.
