Received a Revell Ferrari 250 GTO today, this is a ready to run version with the plastic chassis. It needed a small bit of work to get it running ok but is now work quite well.

Quiet day but I did receive my decals for the Airfix Porsche 917K kit from Le Mans Decals. I will be building this as the car driven by Redman on 4th April 1970 at the Le mans test.

Received a Dromo Car (Polistil) 700DN 1/43rd scale slot car set and includes an Alfa Romeo 33 and Ferrara P5, both of which appear to run but not track tested yet.

Received this Pactra Lotus 30 Vac body today. I don't really need the body but thought if it's the correct size I could cut the windscreen out for use on my Hawk body.

Received this Super Shells White Lotus Elite body kit. Will need to do some research on this as I know they raced in the 1964 Goodwood TT 2000 GT but haven't found any real details yet.

Received this Airfix / MRRC Ferrari 250 LM, but I'm not sure what it really is. The body is the normal Airfix 250 LM but fitted with a MRRC Jersey style plastic chassis whilst the interior tray appears to have been cut to fit and a Revell / Monogram drive tray fitted.
Also received this custom chassis which I think uses a Kay's motor.

Received this un-boxed Airfix 1/32 scale Porsche 917K plastic construction kit which will be converted in to a slot car, probably with a sidewinder chassis so I can keep the full interior.

Received this MRRC Clubman Special Ferrari 250 GTO/64 slot car from H+T Motor Racing in Germany, although the kit is a MRRC Jersey item .

My first arrival of 2021, this AIrfix Clubman Special Ferrari 250 LM slot car.


The car is a non-runner as there is no spring to hold the brushes in place. The car has also been fitted with Scalextric rear wheels. I have bought this car mainly to get the Clubman Special chassis.

This is as far as the track build got to. With the building of the 'Winter Layout' and the purchase of quite a few Jouef 1/40th scale cars this layout was not getting used. So I decided now was as good a time as any to end the track so the track is now dead and as of the end of May 2013 I have started to remove the track.

The new track will be a simple 1/40th scale two lane flat race track and will be called 'Westleigh Motor racing Circuit'.
